1. Sponsor

The "Deficiency of the Week" contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by InspectSync, LLC, 742 Mink Avenue Ste 229, Murrells Inlet, SC 29675 ("InspectSync," "we," or "us").

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry and who work in the fire protection, life safety, or a related field-service industry. Employees, officers, contractors, and agents of InspectSync, LLC and its affiliates, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Contest Period

The Contest runs in weekly cycles. Each cycle (a "Contest Week") begins Monday at 12:00 a.m. and ends the following Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, matching the ISO calendar week. InspectSync may start, pause, or end weekly cycles at its discretion.

4. How to Enter

During a Contest Week, submit a photograph of a fire protection deficiency you personally observed in the field, along with a caption and the requested submitter details, at inspectsync.com/DOTW/Submit. Entry is free. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday to be eligible for that Contest Week. Limit one (1) entry per person per Contest Week; additional entries from the same person in the same Contest Week will not be considered.

5. Finalist Selection and Winner Determination

This is a contest of merit and public preference, not a game of chance. After entries are received, InspectSync reviewers select finalists in their sole discretion, based on relevance, clarity, and appropriateness. Approved finalists appear on the public voting page at inspectsync.com/DOTW, where visitors may cast one (1) vote per Contest Week. At the close of the Contest Week, the finalist with the most valid votes wins. In the event of a tie, the tied entry submitted earliest wins. InspectSync's determinations are final and binding.

6. Prize

One (1) prize is awarded per Contest Week: a $50 general-purpose gift card (approximate retail value: $50). Limit one prize per person per Contest Week. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other substitution is permitted except by InspectSync, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

7. Winner Notification

InspectSync will notify the winner using the phone number or email address provided with the winning entry within seven (7) days after the close of the Contest Week. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within fourteen (14) days, or is found ineligible, InspectSync may award the prize to the finalist with the next-highest vote count or may decline to award a prize for that week.

8. Your Photo and the Rights You Grant

By entering, you represent and warrant that:

• the photograph is your own original work, or you otherwise hold all rights necessary to submit it;
• you were authorized to be present at and to photograph the location shown, and the photograph does not reveal any confidential, proprietary, security-sensitive, or personally identifying information of any customer, building owner, occupant, or other third party; and
• your entry does not violate any law, contract, confidentiality or non-disclosure obligation, or the rights of any third party.

You grant InspectSync, LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, crop, caption, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from your photograph, caption, first name, and company name, in any media now known or later developed, for the Contest and for InspectSync's marketing and promotional purposes, without further notice, compensation, or approval. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless InspectSync from any claim arising out of your entry or its use as permitted here.

9. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize the winner consents to InspectSync's use of their first name and company name in winner announcements and related promotion, without additional notice or compensation.

10. Privacy

The information you provide is used only to administer the Contest and to contact winners. Entrant contact information will not be used for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

11. Conduct; Right to Disqualify

Votes are tracked per browser and are intended to reflect genuine public preference. Any attempt to manipulate voting — including automated, scripted, purchased, or otherwise fraudulent votes, or the use of multiple identities — is prohibited and may result in disqualification and the voiding of affected votes. InspectSync may disqualify any entry or entrant that violates these Rules or that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, offensive, or unlawful.

12. General Conditions

InspectSync reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason. To the fullest extent permitted by law, InspectSync is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries or votes, or for technical failures of any kind. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by InspectSync's decisions, which are final. These Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

13. No Third-Party Association

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the issuer of any gift card provided as a prize.
